 Elora
A native of Avalar, Elora is a strong leader in times of crisis. During Ripto's invastion, she was an essential force in keeping the peace between the worlds. Her assisstance to Spyro the dragon during his fight was invaluable. She provided him with the magical guide book and much-needed information along the way. Among the fauns of Avalar, Elora appears to be unique. Her native home world is unknown.
She is voiced by Melissa Disney in Ripto's Rage. Oliver Wade designed her based on a friend and she was named after Caroline Trujillo, who worked at Insomniac at that time. Her Japanese voice actor was Shinobu Adachi.
Friends
 Hunter
One of Elora's friends and Spyro's greatest allies, Hunter is a clumsy, forgetful cheetah who's heart is in the right place. What he lacks in mental ability he more than makes up for with his strong athleticism.
 Zoe
One of Elora's best friends, this helpful fairy leader made sure Ripto's stay in Avalar was not a pleasant one. She helped Spyro on his adventures by saving his progress and helping him find orbs.
 The Professor
Smarter than just about everyone in Avalar but a bit forgetful at times, the Professor is a great inventor and scientist. His portal technology brought Ripto to Avalar, but also brought Spyro into the world to save the day.
 Bianca
This one-time wicked witch is a new acquaintance of Elora's and is Hunter's sweetheart. She once worked under the evil Sorceress during her plot to steal all of the dragon eggs, but quickly came to the side of good when she learned that the Sorceress' plans were more wicked than she'd thought.
 Agent 9
One of the Professor's favorite simian secret agents, Agent 9 was an indispensable force to be reckoned with when it came to taking down Rhynocs during the Sorceress' campaign.
 Spyro the Dragon
Known throughout the Dragon Worlds, Avalar, and the Forgotten Realms as a great hero, Spyro is a tough little purple dragon. He doesn't like to think about it, but he's also pretty cute for a quadruped (at least according to several ladies in Avalar, Elora included).
Enemies
 Ripto
A diminutive would-be dictator from another world who <i>hates</i> dragons, Ripto caused no end of trouble in the worlds of Avalar. His arrival sparked wars and civil unreast, unleashing chaos where ever he went. With his two monstrous minions, Crush and Gulp, he sought to make Avalar his own kingdom and he might have succeeded without the help of Spyro, Elora and their friends.
 Crush
Not the brightest crayon in the box, Crush is one of Ripto's body guards. His species is unknown, but he walks tall and carries a big stick (which he uses to smash innocent bystanders).
 Gulp
Ripto's other minion and favorite mode of transportation, Gulp has an unhealthy fondness for fairies...unhealthy for the fairies, that is, since he thinks they make a great snack. After swallowing Ripto's magic scepter, he gained a few extra powers but he was no match for the brave Spyro.
 The Sorceress
This wicked lady had a nasty taste for power and she was willing to get it at any cost. Under her command, Bianca and the Rhynocs stole all of the dragon eggs from the Dragon Worlds and brought them to the Forgotten Realms where magic was a scarce commodity. She had plans to use the baby dragons' wings to bring more magic into the world, but she was stopped by Spyro and his friends.
Fauns Around the World
 Fracture Hills
The hoofed inhabitants of this world really love their bagpipe music, much to the dismay of the Earthshapers who share it with them. There are two kinds of fauns in Fracture Hills: the Valley-girl, gray females who love yo-yos, and the more Scottish male satyrs who can be found always playing their bagpipes. When the Earthshapers couldn't take the music anymore, they turned the satyrs to stone and sealed their temple. Spyro restored the rightful order and was rewarded by several compliments from the fauns.
If you think some of the fauns in Fracture Hills sound familiar, you'd be right! All of them are voiced by Melissa Disney, voice of our favorite faun.
 Lava Cone
What do you do when you live by a volcano? Party! At least, that's the motto of these small, blue, Scottish fauns. When Earthshapers crash their party, Spyro saves the day and gets a warm welcome to join in their fun any time.
Avalar
Avalar is another world connected to the Dragon Worlds by the Professor's portal (and later by a portal in Dragon Shores). Spyro found himself in this strange location when his vacation got cut short before it had begun thanks to Ripto. Avalar is composed of three main hub worlds (Summer Forest, Autumn Plains, and Winter Tundra) which serve as neutral ground and connection points to numerous other worlds such as Glimmer, Skelos Badlands, and Metropolis.
